- Prepare Coating: In another bowl, mix sifted flour, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Dredge Chicken: Remove marinated chicken from buttermilk and coat each piece thoroughly in the flour mixture.
- Heat Oil: In a skillet or deep fryer, heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C). Test readiness with a pinch of flour.
- Fry Chicken: Carefully place coated chicken into hot oil. Fry for 12-15 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Drain and Serve: Transfer fried chicken to paper towels to drain. Serve hot.
